Renewable energy strategy for County Meath 2017

Abstract

The key objectives of this policy for a Renewable Energy Strategy in County Meath are to develop a planning framework to support and underpin the core strategy policies and objectives of Climate Change Strategy and Energy Management Action Plan 2011-2012 including community to attain those targets whilst protecting our renewable resources so they may provide not just for this generation but those coming after us. Its core aim is to ensure that the County continues to be a leader in addressing climate change through the facilitation of community inclusive, appropriately located renewable energy developments and through supporting energy efficiency in all sectors of the county usage electricity, transport, heating.
