This report sets out the findings of a survey of households in the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) carried out on behalf of the Dublin Transportation Office (DTO) by Millward Brown IMS. Fieldwork on the survey was carried out from March to July 2006.The primary objective of the research was to gather factual data on travel behaviour throughout the day in order to provide key inputs needed to develop an off-peak travel model. This objective was achieved by conducting face-to-face household interviews with adults aged 15+ years and by the placement of a seven day Travel Diary with household members aged 11+ years. Full details of the survey methodology are given in the next section.en
