dc.description'This is the latest version to have survived of Barry's preparatory studies for the Act of Union. It is similar to another drawing also in the British Museum (cgjc0774). In both works Barry gave the recording angel on the left a large wing, but in the version exhibited here he pasted a contoured piece of paper over the wing and sketched in the background on top if it.'
