dc.description.abstract | Piscina jamb and arch moulding, which comprises, from intrados: chamfer, flat surface, roll, broad fillet at same level as intrados, ogee, ogee, chamfer, fillet, ogee. The hood, from outermost point to innermost comprises: fillet, wave, hollow, ogee. This moulding is unusual for the inclusion of a wave, for the extra ornamentation of the intrados, and for the small proportion of the elements, which are similar to the sedilia in resembling the west door of Abbeydorney. | en |

Gothic Past: Moulding profiles(Digital Image Collection)
This collection consists of approx. 500 moulding profiles collected from medieval buildings c.1200-c.1600 across the island of Ireland. The material was collected by Dr Danielle O'Donovan between 2000 and 2008. The work was funded by Enterprise Ireland, the Office of Public Works, IRCHSS and the Heritage Council.
