In 1879 he exhibited two Brough pictures at the Royal Hibernian Academy, 'When Evening Twilight Gathers Round' and 'On the Brough Marshes'. A picture closely related to the present work was exhibited in the 1992 show of Burke's work at Milmo-Penny Fine Art, Dublin and was illustrated in the catalogue. | en |
