dc.descriptionThe crossing tower of Roscrea Franciscan friary, Co. Tipperary. The tower is carried on pointed arches which have a chamfered soffit order, carried on moulded corbels. In the distance is the east window which may have been of two lights with a single piece of reticulation in the head. The building is associated with the patronage of the O'Carrolls of Elyocarroll.en
