PRESENTEDen
The paper presents a study on utilising Thomas Schelling?s model, to perform topology adaptation in unstructured decentralised P2P networks. Schelling?s model suggests an explanation for the existence of segregated neighbourhoods in America. The paper uses an abstract version of Schelling?s algorithm. A simulator to study different variations of Schelling?s model has been implemented. The paper presents a case study demonstrating how the abstract algorithm can be used to improve bandwidth usage in P2P networks.en
