dc.description | Signed with a monogram. Provenance: The property of Mrs. Eve Kaye. Mildred Anne Butler's last surviving sister of four brothers and four sisters, bequest for life her home to her third cousin Doreen Archer Houblon, who lived there with her husband and later her sister Killy Brocklebank until her death in December 1977. Mrs. Houblon had no children and thus it was that Kitty's daughter Eve and her husband, Anthony Kaye, came to take over running of the house and farm. | en |
