Abstract:
At least three enzymes (i. e., trypsin, chymotrypsin and neutrophil elastase) are
responsible for the degradation of salmon calcitonin (sCT) in the human body. Here, we investigated how these proteinases affect drug disposition of sCT
in the lungs.
