dc.description.abstractIn this paper I propose giving an account of an investigation into mental defect amongst Dublin children. This forms part of a larger investigation, not yet completed, into the incidence of mental defect and epilepsy not associated with insanity in selected areas of the country. The paper concludes with certain recommendations as to the treatment of these handicapped children.en
