Description:
Jamb, arch and hood moulding of altar tomb. From intrados moulding comprises: double-ogee, fillet, hollow. The latter fillet and hollow are frontal, being carved into the front face of the jamb. The hood, from outside to inside, comprises: frontal fillet, ogee. Similar tomb niches can be found at Quin, Adare Franciscan, Adare Augustinian, Askeaton, Ennis, Abbeydorney, Kilconnell.Role:
