Description:
The central broad "mullion" or central member of the double piscina in the south chancel wall at St. Canice's cathedral. The eastern jamb and arch has a moulding comprising of: central angle angle-fillet flanked at either side by a demi-roll-and-fillet, three-quarter hollow, and fillets. The western jamb and arch is moulded with: central triple filleted roll flanked at either side by three-quarter hollow, and fillets. To the front face there is a frontal quadrant appended to the fillet.Role:
