Download Item:
Description:
Breaking down the remaining barriers to international trade in goods and services is of fundamental importance to growing employment and incomes in Ireland and to making Ireland attractive to a new generation of high technology industries. This report coincided with the trade liberalisation negotiations launched by trade ministers representing the 144 members of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at Doha, Qatar in November 2001, and makes recommendations on the "strategic" negotiating priorities for Ireland.
