dc.description.abstract | This dissertation analyses the problem of providing Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) in an ad
hoc network. A novel solution is proposed designed and implemented that facilitates both types of
KMI that are deployed in traditional networking environments, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and
Symmetric Key Infrastructure (SKI). The basis of this solution is a complete threshold RSA
scheme. This thesis also analyses the design of a complete threshold scheme and demonstrates the
feasibility and utility of using complete threshold RSA as a key management tool in ad hoc
networks. | |
