dc.description.abstract | Mobile agents are entities that have execution lifetimes that axe not confined to a single host. They have the ability to migrate between different hosts in order to execute locally thereby avoiding remote communication. This can be advantageous in environments where network conditions are unreliable or uncertain. These include ad-hoc networks and low bandwidth, high latency networks. | |
