Abstract:
Industrial processes involving copper electrolysis are important in
modern society. In these processes copper ions contained in aqueous
solution are crystallized onto a cathode by the passage of current. Copper
industry faces several challenges regarding high power consumption,
growth morphology of the final product as well as the space and time
used to achieve a certain production rate, known as 'space-time yield'.
