dc.description.abstractPost-conflict peacebuilding offers great opportunities for the development of just and equal societies, but these opportunities are often overlooked, particularly in regards to gender and the needs of women. Though significant progress has been made in terms of recognizing women as citizens and acknowledging the need for increased levels of participation in decision-making, the underlying issues have yet to be addressed.
