The aim of this thesis was to characterise the neurobehavioural change that accompanies treatment with the pro-inflammatory cytokine Interferon-alpha (IFN-a) in Hepatitis C patients (HCV) by using both qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess the impact this treatment had on patients and how this neurobehavioural change compared to patients with a primary depression.
