Abstract:
Social – or socio-cultural – valuation of ecosystem services is the process of discovering what ecosystem services people value and how important they are to them. In this document, you find guidance to set up your own social valuation study and a illustrative prototype applications to learn from. These prototype applications are based on close collaboration between researchers and practitioners in exemplary case studies funded by the FP7 project OPERAs.
