An examination of the work of William Glasser with special reference to control theory and reality therapy and their implications for the guidance counsellor

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to examine the work of Dr. William Glasser, focusing particularly on Control Theory and Reality Therapy. It attempts to establish what he has to offer by way of a sound philosophical, psychological and methodological basis for the work of guidance counsellors in secondary schools.
