Abstract:
Campylobacter colonization levels within the chicken gastrointestinal tract vary substantially
between individual chickens and this variation in colonization susceptibility can be heritable. In
this work the genetic background of chickens resistant and susceptible to Campylobacter
colonization was investigated in order to determine the biological basis underlying this variation.
