Description:
The focus of this review is on workplace wellbeing programmes. These are a subset of workplace health programmes, and include single or dual focus programmes (e.g. physical activity, dietary behaviour and weight management; smoking and alcohol behaviours; stress, anxiety and depression) and multi-focus programmes. Multi-focus programmes are often referred to in the literature as workplace health promotion programmes, and workplace or organisational wellness programmes. They involve a combination of physical activity, weight, nutrition and physical activity, stress management and anxiety/depression, and lifestyle interventions. This review focused on two questions in relation to workplace wellbeing programmes: Do they have a favourable effect? Are they worth the investment?Corporate name:
