dc.description.abstract | There is a dearth of knowledge surrounding the neural mechanisms that determine the persistence or remission of ADHD into adulthood. Neuroimaging and neuropsychological studies have helped to better understand the biological foundation of symptom-related dysfunction in ADHD. This doctoral thesis has built upon prior work in this field through the evaluation of the neurobiological and neuropsychological outcome associated with the persistence or remission of ADHD in a group of adults with who were carefully diagnosed with ADHD in childhood. | |
