Abstract:
Observational studies to date have provided conflicting evidence with respect to the clinical relevance of vitamin B12 status in elderly patients. The aims of this work were to establish the relationship of vitamin B12 status to a number of clinical domains, including cognitive performance; prevalence of falls; orthostatic hypotension; depressive symptoms, and mortality.
